JOB: DigitaL Advertising STRATEGIST
The Digital Advertising Strategist develops and executes creative strategies that raise money and awareness and motivate people into action. Your expertise is in reaching new audiences and growing movements. You can quickly switch between unique and varied voices of ACM Strategies’ clients, which include leading organizations that do world-changing things like fight for safe workplaces, combat disinformation, advance voting rights, work to make green energy more equitable, push for a pathway to citizenship for undocumented Americans, expose the funders of right-wing extremism, and change the narrative about economic policy. You’re innovative, results-driven, and an early adopter of new platforms and tactics. While you specialize in advertising strategy, you’re a team player committed to ensuring clients’ broader digital strategy needs are being met.
In a typical week you:

Provide strategic direction for client campaigns, including programmatic, paid social, and paid search efforts

Write ad copy and develop creative concepts

Use Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and other platforms to launch and manage eye-catching and memorable ads

Suggest, manage, and track advertising budgets for clients

Fact check and proofread content before launch

Track results, put them into context, and produce and present professional reports to clients

Make strategy recommendations and improvements based on data

Participate in weekly meetings with clients

Monitor the news for rapid response opportunities and come up with imaginative ways to be part of the conversation

Create online actions, draft and schedule social media content, and provide broad digital strategy support as needed

Write blog posts about digital strategy for ACMStrategies.com

WORKING AT ACM STRATEGIES
The Digital Advertising Strategist is a full-time, permanent job that can be done remotely from anywhere in the United States. The Digital Advertising Strategist is part of the Client Services team and reports to the Director of Client Services. This is a commission-eligible role, and candidates should be prepared to sign an exclusivity/noncompete agreement.
Our team is fully remote and located across the United States in several time zones. We typically work standard 9 AM to 5 PM business hours (based on location), but team members work a flex schedule during peak times and when rapid-response work is required, such as during the weeks leading up to a major election. Occasional travel within the U.S. will be required.

REQUIREMENTS
These are the requirements for this position:

A solid understanding of the progressive movement and a commitment to building a more just and equitable world

1-3 years of experience developing and executing digital advertising strategy
-
Confidence setting up and maintaining ads using platforms such as Meta Business Suite and Google Ads

Experience using programmatic ad tech
-
Strong creative instincts
-
An ability to stay on top of the news and industry trends so we can make the best possible recommendations to clients
-
Extraordinary attention to detail, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and brand styles. This is extremely important to us — you should be able to launch content on behalf of high-profile clients without requiring edits.

An ability to analyze metrics and make recommendations for testing and optimization

Basic graphic design skills
-
Experience creating videos or graphics in a rapid-response situation

The focus to be a self-manager. This is a remote position, so you should be confident in your ability to stay on track.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The starting salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
