The Best Employer Award honors the company culture we take tremendous pride in. ACM Strategies is a military spouse-founded, women-led firm, and we work collaboratively so our clients can rely on multiple creative perspectives and get the best possible outcomes. We value one another as complex people with hobbies, passions, creativity, responsibilities, and lives outside of work.
Even before COVID-19, ACM Strategies worked to create a flexible, remote work environment that benefited every team member and empowered staff to draw inspiration from their unique communities. We’ve made a concerted effort to document policies and establish systems that acknowledge the reality that people have health needs, families, and priorities outside of work. This has paid off — in 2022, two of our team members took and returned from successful 12-week-long and overlapping parental leaves. We plan to continue to develop and implement new policies and procedures that enable employees to bring their best, whole selves to the vital work we do.
The Best Political Firm Branding Award honors our trademarked approach: "We Turn People Into Activists." The ACM Strategies team works with labor, advocacy, political, and campaign clients, and the scope and scale of our work can vary by project. One thing all our clients have in common is a commitment to creating a more just and equitable world. Building movements by turning people into activists is essential to achieving that goal.
